Mondadori - a leader in captivating material

The first time I taught Italian online a few years ago was a curious experience. I had only ever been the student, so moving from language student to language teacher felt like a bit of a leap of faith.

I began to look for materials that I could use for my classes. The first page I stumbled upon was mondadori.

Mondadori Italiano per stranieri (Italian for foreigners) ought to be part of any Italian teacher’s armoury. It offers a diverse selection of resources on grammar, vocabulary, and reading – although listening activities are lacking.

Readings focus on levels and are designed to challenge not only your grasp of the language but your knowledge of culture, and both expand hand in hand the more you complete.

They include topics such as the Renaissance, Italy’s micro-states (San Marino and The Vatican City), Italian cinema, national parks, and cultures and traditions that give Italy its essence.

Used in conjunction with further didactic methods and reinforcing techniques, classes become interactive and dynamic. See what people are saying about the classes here.
