“Online tutoring - a new and original way to tackle the traditional Leaving Cert.”

Students don’t need to study a language in school to be able to sit the exam come June. With private tutoring, they can prepare themselves in their own time and at their own pace.

These days, with the advance of online learning largely due to the pandemic, old-fashioned ‘grinds’ have reshaped themselves. Now they can be done online, which makes things a lot easier in terms of transport, timing, and materials.

I use Google Docs as a sort of notebook in which all the material is accessible in a few clicks. I cover the syllabus in detail with my students, preparing them for all aspects of the exam.

Lessons are dynamic, personalized, and fun. I will publish testimonials in the coming weeks with detailed descriptions of how the classes work and opinions from parents and students.

I currently work with an eclectic group of students from first to sixth year - all individually and of a variety of levels, from native speakers looking to familiarize themselves with the structure of the LC, to first year beginners, and also adults with a passion for language.
